As someone who’s tech-savvy but not a coding expert, I’ve been trying to wrap my head around how to get the most out of this platform. I installed OpenHAB on my laptop and went through the beginner tutorials, which were a great start. I managed to get my Philips Hue bulbs recognized and even control them through the Paper UI interface. But then things got a bit tricky for me, especially when it came to creating a Sitemap. I could see the possibilities, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the complexity of it all.

It’s been a fun journey so far, and I’m excited to see how much more I can achieve with OpenHAB once I get past this learning curve.
