I’ve recently transitioned from a Homewizard P1 to a Plugwise Smile P1, hoping it would solve my challenge of automating my washing machine and dishwasher based on solar energy production. The idea is simple: when my solar panels generate enough energy, these appliances should turn on automatically. It’s all about maximizing self-consumption and reducing grid dependency.So far, I’ve set up my solar inverter (Zonneplan One) to monitor energy production, but it doesn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity. This means I can’t directly link it to my Homey system. The Plugwise Smile P1 seems like the missing piece here, but I’m still figuring out how to configure everything properly.I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated their solar setup with home appliances using the Plugwise Smile P1.
