Exploring RGB Color Loop Functionality

Hi everyone, I recently got my first RGB light (Gledopto GL-FL-005P) and integrated it into my smart home setup. The initial setup was straightforward—connecting it as a lamp card in the dashboard and adjusting brightness, color temperature, and color seemed seamless. However, I noticed that the color loop feature wasn’t working as expected. I thought it might be a compatibility issue, so I decided to dig deeper.

After some research, I found that others have had similar experiences. It seems the color loop feature can be finicky depending on the device and integration. I tried adjusting settings, updating firmware, and even resetting the device, but nothing worked. I was a bit frustrated but also curious to find a workaround.

I stumbled upon a suggestion to use third-party apps or custom scripts to create a similar effect. While I haven’t tried this yet, it’s intriguing to think about how I could customize the color transitions beyond what the built-in feature offers. I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully implemented a workaround or has tips for making the color loop work smoothly.

It’s amazing how these small hiccups can lead to discovering new possibilities and creative solutions. I’m excited to explore more and hopefully find a way to enjoy the full potential of my RGB lights. Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions!
