Exploring RGBW Lighting Customization

I’ve been diving into the world of RGBW lighting customization with my new setup, and it’s been quite an adventure! I recently installed an RGBW2 system with four white LED strips, each about 5 meters long, connected via individual 8-ampere LED repeaters. The Shelly integration has been seamless, but I’ve encountered a minor hiccup that I thought I’d share and see if anyone has any insights.

The issue I’m facing is with the dimming levels. When I set the brightness to 1%, it still feels a bit too bright for my liking. I remember using LED repeaters before that allowed for much darker settings, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to achieve that with my current setup. Maybe there’s a hidden setting or a tweak I haven’t discovered yet?

On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with different lighting scenarios, and it’s amazing how much of an impact even small adjustments can make. For instance, setting up a gradual dimming effect based on time of day has completely transformed the ambiance of my living space. It’s these little victories that keep me excited about home automation!

If anyone has tips on achieving ultra-low brightness levels or has encountered similar issues, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Let’s keep the conversation flowing and continue to explore the endless possibilities of smart lighting!
