Hello everyone! I’ve been really impressed with the Shelly devices I’ve been using around my home. They’ve made automating certain tasks so much easier and more efficient. For instance, I’ve been using the Shelly 2.5 in roller mode for my Somfy RTS markise, and it’s been a game-changer. However, I’ve noticed that the automatic stop feature after a certain time can be a bit of a nuisance. I’ve been wondering if there’s a way to disable this feature so that the contact remains active without interruption. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer for some guidance, and I’m hopeful they’ll have a solution soon.
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is connecting a 12V electromagnet to a Shelly 1 Plus. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’ve managed to get it working with some adjustments. If anyone else is trying something similar, I’d love to hear about your experiences or any tips you might have. The Shelly community has been so helpful, and I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received so far.
For those of you who are new to Shelly devices, I’d highly recommend checking out their app. It’s incredibly user-friendly and has a wealth of features that make automation a breeze. Whether you’re controlling lights, managing your HVAC system, or even monitoring your home security, Shelly has something for everyone.
I’d love to hear from others who are using Shelly devices. What projects have you undertaken? Have you encountered any challenges, and how did you overcome them? Let’s share our experiences and continue to learn from one another. Happy automating!
