Hi everyone, I’ve been experimenting with the Shelly Pro 3EM and wanted to share my experience. I’ve always been curious about whether it could serve dual purposes—monitoring energy consumption while also acting as a Wi-Fi booster. After some research and setup, I’m happy to report that it works seamlessly! ![]()
I’ve set it up in a part of my home where the Wi-Fi signal was weak, and it’s made a noticeable difference. The device not only provides reliable energy monitoring but also strengthens the network in that area. It’s been running smoothly for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with its performance.
On another note, I’ve also been exploring the Ezlo Atom’s local mode. It’s incredibly fast and responsive, as commands are executed directly without going through the cloud. This has been a game-changer for me, especially for quick actions like turning lights on or off. The custom RTOS and rewritten Z-Wave stack truly make a difference in speed and reliability. Kudos to the team behind this innovation! ![]()
If anyone has tips on optimizing local mode performance or additional use cases for the Shelly Pro 3EM, I’d love to hear them. Let’s keep the discussion going! ![]()
