Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with my new Essential 2nd Gen XL Outdoor camera. While it’s a fantastic device, I encountered a couple of issues that I hope the community can help me resolve.
First, in brighter conditions, the camera overexposes areas around my outdoor lamps, making it hard to see details. In darker conditions, focusing becomes a real struggle, resulting in blurry images. I’ve noticed that my 2nd gen video doorbell handles these lamps much better, so I’m curious if there’s a setting or adjustment I can make to improve the camera’s performance.
On a more positive note, I’ve been impressed with the integration of my Govee lights into my smart home setup. They’ve added a nice touch to my Christmas decorations, and I’m eager to explore more ways to customize their settings for different occasions.
