Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart cameras lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. First off, I’ve heard great things about the Lowes Iris Cameras, but with the recent announcement of Iris shutting down, I’m curious if anyone has successfully integrated these cameras into the SmartThings ecosystem. I currently own four Iris cameras (three outdoor and one indoor), and it would be fantastic to continue using them without having to re-mount everything. Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
On another note, I’ve been exploring the Amazon Music Unlimited service and wanted to know how others manage their music across multiple Echo devices. Specifically, I have two Echo Spots and an Echo Show 5. Is there a seamless way to sync my Amazon Music Unlimited account across all these devices? I’d love to hear if there’s a straightforward setup or any tips to ensure smooth music streaming across the board.
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with Z-Wave integration using an Aeotec Z-Wave Stick gen7 on my Raspberry Pi with Openhab. While the setup seemed straightforward at first, I’ve encountered some issues with node control despite everything appearing online. The logs mention a problem with the SIS-Node parameter, which I’ve adjusted, but the issue persists. I’m wondering if there are additional configurations or troubleshooting steps I might have missed. Has anyone else experienced similar issues or found a solution?
I’d love to hear from those who’ve tackled these challenges or have tips for optimizing smart camera setups and music streaming across multiple devices. Let’s keep the conversation flowing and help each other navigate the exciting world of smart home tech!
