For instance, I recently managed to connect my Fibaro FGK-101 door/window sensor with an external DS18B20 temperature sensor to monitor both the door status and the freezer temperature. While the door sensor worked flawlessly, I encountered some issues with the temperature functionality. After rewiring and resetting the sensor, I noticed that the temperature data wasn’t being registered as expected. I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges or have tips for troubleshooting such issues.

For example, I’ve been using the Dahua VTH5341G-W camera with Home Assistant, and while the initial setup was a bit slow, I managed to optimize its performance by creating a simplified Lovelace dashboard.
