I recently had the pleasure of setting up the Govee Smart Fan in my home, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer! 
The ability to control fan speed and lighting through the app has made my evenings so much more enjoyable. I especially love the touchscreen controls—they’re smooth and responsive, nothing like the choppier controls on my old Govee lamp. The app UI is also a breath of fresh air, with customizable settings that let me set timers or adjust settings to my liking. The best part? The fan is whisper-quiet, even on the highest setting—perfect for those late-night reads without disturbing anyone.
However, I do miss having a remote control. While most RCs can be unreliable, I was hoping for a seamless integration. That said, the app controls more than make up for it. The only minor hiccup was assembling the stand—it took a few tries to get it just right, but once it was set, it felt sturdy and secure.
For anyone considering this fan, I’d highly recommend it over the Lasko fan I used before. The Govee fan’s speed and reliability are unmatched, and the compact design is a huge plus. It’s been a joy to have this reliable addition to my smart home setup!
