For example, I use an input_boolean to track whether my front lights were on before motion was detected. This ensures that the lights only turn off if they weren’t already on, preventing any unintended disruptions.
One thing I’d love to hear more about is integrating devices from different brands. I’ve been using a mix of Govee, Ets, and Z-Wave devices, and while they generally work well together, there are occasional hiccups.
