Exploring Smart Home Automation: My Recent Journey and Questions

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and it’s been an exciting journey! I’ve set up a few cameras around my home, and while I love the convenience, I’m trying to figure out how to arrange them more efficiently. Currently, they all line up in a single row, and I have to scroll to see each one. I’d love to have them in a grid layout for easier viewing. Has anyone found a way to do this? I’m using the default view tab, but I’m open to any suggestions or workarounds!

Another thing I’ve been exploring is creating simple automations. I set up a rule to turn on some lights when a motion sensor detects activity, but sometimes it doesn’t trigger when I expect it to. It’s almost as if the sensor needs a nudge to update its status. I’ve noticed that checking the sensor’s status in the app seems to kickstart the automation. Does anyone else experience this, or know how to ensure consistent performance? I’d really appreciate any insights or tips!

I also wanted to share that I recently discovered the points leaderboard here on the forum. It’s motivating to see how active the community is, and I’m thrilled to be part of it! I’m curious to hear how others are earning points and engaging with the platform. Any fun stories or strategies to share? I’d love to hear your experiences! :tada:

Thanks in advance for your help and advice. I’m looking forward to learning more and making my smart home even smarter! :rocket:
