Hey everyone, I’m really excited to dive into the world of smart home automation! I’ve been experimenting with integrating various devices into my ecosystem, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and insights. 
One of the challenges I’ve encountered is connecting Bluetooth devices to my Alexa setup. I tried adding a Bluetooth speaker and receiver, but the app kept hanging on ‘looking for devices’ and wouldn’t find anything. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that directly pairing the device with my Echo Dot worked like a charm! It was a bit frustrating at first, but the satisfaction of getting it all connected made it totally worth it. 
Another area I’ve been exploring is automating temperature control based on occupancy. I have two remote sensors—one in the living room and one in the family room (which we use as an Airbnb). When guests arrive, I want the family room sensor to take over the thermostat control, and when they leave, it should switch back to the living room sensor. I’ve been looking into creating virtual thermostats and adjusting weightings, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement this yet. If anyone has tips or success stories, I’d love to hear them! 
I also wanted to touch on the importance of scene automation. I recently set up a system where my house mode changes to ‘day’ or ‘night’ based on when I return home. It’s been a fantastic way to streamline my routines, but I ran into some issues with scenes triggering simultaneously. I ended up using conditional statements to ensure only the relevant scene runs, and it’s been working perfectly since! 
Lastly, I wanted to give a shoutout to the Wyze AI updates mentioned earlier. The improvements in object detection, especially for pets and packages, are amazing. It’s like having a smarter security system without the constant false alarms. Plus, the Cam Plus Pro trial has been a game-changer for peace of mind.
