Exploring Smart Home Automation with Fibaro and Vera

I’ve been on a journey to automate my home using Fibaro and Vera devices, and it’s been an exciting experience! :rocket: My setup includes a DSC PC1832 panel, TR5164-433 transceiver, WT5500 keypad, and EnvisaLink 4. I’ve also integrated some Falmots for room-specific heating control, which has been a game-changer for my floor heating system. :running_man::male_sign:

One of the challenges I faced was figuring out how to link my Buderus boiler with the Falmots. I initially thought the HmIP-MIOB Multi IO Box might be the solution, but I wasn’t sure if it would allow me to control just the heating water production without affecting the hot water generation. After some research and reaching out to the community, I realized that the boiler’s external inputs could be the key to achieving the desired automation. :jigsaw:

I’ve also been experimenting with Vera’s automation capabilities, which have saved me from buying additional Z-Wave sensors. It’s amazing how versatile these devices can be with a bit of tinkering. :bulb:

If anyone has tips on optimizing room-specific heating or has experience with similar setups, I’d love to hear your insights! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make our homes smarter and more efficient. :handshake:
