I recently set up a routine using Google Good Morning to automate my morning routine. It’s been a fantastic start, but I’m looking to refine it further. Here’s what I’m working on:

Automating Blinds Based on Window Sensors
I love the idea of my blinds opening automatically in the morning, but I want this to happen only for windows that are closed. Right now, I’ve added the command“open the bedroom blinds”to my Good Morning routine, but it doesn’t account for the open/close sensor on my windows. Is there a way to integrate this so that only closed windows trigger the blind opening? I’d love to have a single command that handles all my windows! -
Integrating Vera with Other Devices
I’m also exploring how to integrate my Vera system with other devices. I’ve heard that adding an Asterisk server could be a great way to manage calls and media, but I’m not sure about the available space on Vera for this setup. Does anyone have experience with running OpenWRT + Asterisk + Vera on the same device? I’d love to hear about your setups and any tips you might have! -
