I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and it’s been such a fascinating journey! 
I recently picked up a Govee smart plug and a set of RGB light strips, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve transformed my living space. The ability to control everything from my phone or even through voice commands is pure magic! 
One thing I’ve been curious about, though, is how to create more seamless integration between different brands. I have a mix of Govee, Wyze, and some older Philips Hue devices, and while they all work individually, getting them to play nicely together has been a bit of a puzzle. 
Has anyone here successfully integrated multiple brands into one cohesive system? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks!
Another feature I’d love to explore more is scene automation. I’ve set up a few basic scenes so far—like a ‘Goodnight’ routine that dims the lights and locks the doors—but I’m eager to get more creative. 
Does anyone have any favorite apps or tools for designing complex automations? I’ve heard great things about Hubitat and Node-RED, but I’m not quite sure where to start.
On a lighter note, I recently stumbled upon this adorable little plant that my neighbor gifted me. I think it’s a Dracaena, but I’m not entirely sure. 
I’ve been using a propagation tent to help it thrive, and it’s been a fun little project to watch it grow. If anyone has tips for caring for exotic plants, I’d be delighted to hear them!
