Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my journey with integrating my Nobo heaters into my smart home ecosystem. As someone who’s been exploring the world of smart home automation, I’ve been curious about how to connect my Nobo system with my Homey setup. Currently, my home is equipped with Nobo heaters controlled by a Nobo hub via Wi-Fi. The system allows me to use a phone app or a Nobo remote to set schedules, comfort temperatures, and away modes. However, Homey doesn’t have a direct app for Nobo, so I’ve been brainstorming some workarounds.
One idea I’ve been exploring is using a signal sniffer to mimic the Nobo remote’s signals. While I know that 433MHz signals can be sniffed using devices like the Broadlink RM Pro+, I’m not sure if a similar solution exists for Wi-Fi signals. Another approach I’ve considered is modifying the Nobo switch to include receivers that can emulate button presses when triggered by Homey. This would allow one-way communication, which is sufficient for my needs since I don’t require feedback from the Nobo system.
I’d love to hear if anyone has experience with similar setups or if there are receivers supported by Homey that could make this project a reality. It would be fantastic to have a seamless integration where Homey can switch my Nobo system between Schedule and Away states without any hassle.
On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with quick controls for my TV, which has been a fun addition to my setup. It’s amazing how these small tweaks can enhance the overall smart home experience. I’m curious to see if others have found innovative ways to integrate their devices and would love to share tips or tricks!
