Exploring Smart Home Automation with Shelly and BeeBox Sensors

Hello everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I wanted to share my experiences and some tips I’ve picked up along the way. :star2:

I recently set up a Shelly 1 PM device and paired it with a BeeBox sensor to monitor temperature and humidity. The setup was surprisingly straightforward, and the stability has been impressive compared to my previous Zigbee setup. However, I did run into an issue where the temperature sensor wasn’t being recognized in the app, even after multiple restarts and resets. I tried troubleshooting by switching ports and sensors, but the problem persisted. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this and how they resolved it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

On a more positive note, I’ve been experimenting with automations to control my LED lights. I upgraded to some sleek new LED lights recently, and setting up automations to adjust their brightness and color based on time of day has completely transformed my living space. It’s amazing how a little bit of automation can make your home feel so much more connected and comfortable. I’d love to hear how others are using automations in their homes—maybe I can get some inspiration for the next project! :bulb:

Another thing I’ve been exploring is integrating different brands of smart devices. I have a mix of Shelly, Wyze, and Hive devices, and while they all work well individually, getting them to communicate seamlessly has been a bit of a challenge. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated multiple brands and how they managed it. Any best practices or tools they’d recommend would be fantastic! :handshake:

Lastly, I wanted to mention the importance of community support. I’ve found that forums like this are invaluable for troubleshooting and sharing ideas. If anyone is stuck with a particular issue or just looking for some inspiration, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re all here to help each other create smarter, more connected homes! :raised_hands:

Happy automating everyone! Let’s keep the ideas flowing! :bulb::sparkles:
