As I continue my journey into the world of smart home automation, I wanted to share some of my experiences and insights with the community. One of the most exciting devices I’ve integrated into my system is the Shelly TRV. While I’ve been successfully using it with presets, I’ve also been exploring the possibility of setting a target temperature directly, which would add even more flexibility to my heating system. Another area I’ve been diving into is dynamic lighting. Inspired by the vibrant color transitions of Philips Hue, I’ve been experimenting with creating smooth, gradual changes in my living room. I stumbled upon the hass-scene_presets integration, which mimics the Hue-like experience, and it’s been a game-changer. I’ve been testing it with my existing Hue light strips and even considering adding more RGB strips for future projects. The ability to customize scenes and tweak colors has opened up a whole new level of creativity in my home setup.
