As a newbie to Homey, I encountered a minor hiccup when trying to log in initially, butFortunately, I figured it out and thought I’d document my journey in case others run into the same issue.
So, here’s what happened: When I first attempted to log in, the grayed-out hostname text was a bit misleading. I was entering the default URL provided, but it didn’t work. After some trial and error, I realized that using the QuickConnect address was the key. Once I switched to that format—something like 192-xxx-xx-xx.yyyyyyy.direct.quickconnect.to
—everything fell into place! It was such a relief to see it work.
