I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I’m absolutely loving the possibilities it brings. One thing I’ve been really curious about is setting up zones for different areas of my home. For example, I’d love to have specific automations trigger when I’m at work versus when I’m at home. But here’s where I’m hitting a snag: my system doesn’t seem to differentiate between my work zones and my home zones. It just treats everything as if I’m at home, which isn’t quite what I want. 
I’ve been experimenting with the automation builder, but I’m not quite getting the results I’m hoping for. Does anyone have tips or tricks for setting up zones as conditions in automations? I’d love to hear how you’ve tackled this!
On another note, I’ve also been exploring the integration of different smart devices. For instance, I recently came across a project where someone integrated their Spotify account with their home assistant to control music zones. It sounds amazing, but I’m not quite sure how to set it up. If anyone has experience with this or similar projects, I’d be thrilled to learn more!
Lastly, I’ve been impressed by the community’s creativity in finding solutions to everyday problems. Whether it’s optimizing battery life for sensors or figuring out the best way to display countdowns for upcoming events, the collective wisdom here is truly inspiring.
