Smart home technology continues to amaze me with its endless possibilities. I recently discovered the Govee H7142 humidifier, which not only adds moisture to the air but also features a customizable night light. It’s a subtle yet practical addition to my bedroom setup, and I love how it changes colors to match my mood. 
Another project I’ve been working on is organizing my Home Assistant configuration. I’ve been trying to split my configuration.yaml into smaller, more manageable files like cameras.yaml. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but I’ve found that using the !include directive makes things much cleaner. If anyone has tips on best practices for structuring their config files, I’d love to hear them!
I’ve also been experimenting with Zigbee devices and was thrilled to find that my Inovelli switch now updates its status almost instantly in the Homey app. It’s a small improvement, but it makes a big difference in how seamlessly my smart home operates.
