Exploring Smart Home Integration: My Journey with Wyze Cam and Z-Wave

As I continue my journey into the world of smart home technology, I’ve been experimenting with integrating various devices to create a seamless and efficient system. Recently, I added a Wyze Cam V3 to my setup, and I’ve been curious about optimizing its timelapse feature. I inserted a 32GB micro SD card, but I’m unsure whether to use the ‘Continues’ or ‘Events only’ setting. Both options mention that the SD card will overwrite videos when full, but I’d prefer the recording to stop once the card is full. Does anyone have tips on achieving this?

On another note, I’ve been diving into Z-Wave integration with OpenHAB 4.1.1. While I’ve managed to get some devices working, others have been a bit stubborn. I’m using a Silicon Labs UZB-7 and a Zooz ZST39LR USB stick, along with an Intel NUC running Windows 11. The challenge has been configuring the MP21ZD dimmer plug and the Zooz Zen77 800LR dimmer switch. I’ve followed all the recommended procedures, but communication remains elusive. It’s frustrating, but I’m determined to crack this puzzle! :jigsaw:

I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated Z-Wave devices or have tips on SD card settings for timelapse. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other navigate these smart home adventures! :bulb:
