Moving on to thermostats, I’ve been experimenting with integrating some smart thermostats into my home heating system. One thing I’m curious about is whether it’s possible to use a single driver for all my lights or if it’s better to have separate drivers for each light. I’ve noticed that some apps list all supported devices upfront, which is super helpful when shopping, but others just have a generic option that scans for devices. I’m leaning towards the latter for flexibility, but I’d love to know if there’s a middle ground that offers the best of both worlds!
Another area I’ve been exploring is lighting automation. I’ve set up a few routines to turn lights on at specific times, but I’m running into an issue where the lights occasionally activate without any command. It’s a bit unsettling, especially when I’m not home. I’ve checked for obvious culprits like motion sensors or app glitches, but nothing seems to be the cause. Lastly, I’ve been looking into integrating some Zigbee devices into my setup. I’ve heard great things about the Lutron Caseta system, but I’m not entirely sure how to transition from my current hub to a Lutron Hub Pro. Is there a straightforward process for making my existing dimmers discoverable on the new hub? Any tips or experiences would be invaluable!
