Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and ask for advice from the community. 
First off, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my new Roborock vacuum cleaner. The map integration feature is a game-changer! I used to rely on Map Cloud Extractor for customizing the map display, but the new integration within Home Assistant has exceeded my expectations. The ability to seamlessly overlay the vacuum’s path over a floor plan is so user-friendly. I’ve been experimenting with different draw configurations, and it’s been a lot of fun tweaking the settings to get everything just right. Here’s an example of what I’ve been working with:

If anyone has tips on optimizing the map display or customizing colors further, I’d love to hear them! 
On another note, I’ve also been exploring ESPHome for creating custom sensors. I’ve set up a temperature sensor at work that sends data to my Home Assistant instance via webhook. It’s been a fantastic way to monitor conditions remotely without exposing my local setup to the internet. I’m curious if others have experience with similar setups or if there are alternative methods that might be even more efficient. 
As I continue to expand my smart home ecosystem, I’m thinking about adding more devices, like smart lighting and maybe even a security camera system. I’d love to hear recommendations on brands that integrate well with Home Assistant and offer reliable performance.
