Exploring Smart Home Integration: Shelly RGBW with Loxone and PWM Pulse Collection

Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent journey into the world of smart home automation. My project has been a mix of excitement and learning, especially as I integrate different devices and systems. Today, I’d like to talk about my experiences with the Shelly RGBW-2 and Loxone, as well as my exploration into PWM pulse collection with the PAS800L. :star2:

Shelly RGBW-2 with Loxone
I’ve been eyeing the Shelly RGBW-2 for its wireless capabilities, which is perfect for my home where I need to control LED strips in hard-to-reach areas. While I’ve managed to set up the basics, I’ve been curious about how to send specific colors from Loxone. The documentation for the RGBW version is a bit sparse, so I’ve been experimenting with different configurations. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’m hopeful to crack the code soon! If anyone has tips or tricks, I’d love to hear them.

PWM Pulse Collection with PAS800L
On another front, I’ve been diving into the PAS800L for pulse collection on water and gas meters. The idea is to replace an older system that used Com’x, which is no longer available. I’m exploring whether the PAS800L can scale pulses and send them daily via FTP/SFTP as a CSV file. It’s a bit technical, but I’m optimistic about finding a solution. If anyone has experience with similar setups, your insights would be invaluable! :bulb:

My Takeaways
Integrating different smart devices can be both rewarding and challenging. The key is to stay curious and keep experimenting. Whether it’s tweaking configurations or seeking advice from the community, every step brings me closer to my goal of a seamless smart home setup. :house_with_garden:

I’d love to hear about your experiences too—what devices have you successfully integrated, and what tips can you share? Let’s keep the conversation going!
