Exploring Smart Home Integration with Govee and Corsair

Hi all, I’m super excited to dive into the world of smart home integration! I recently got myself a Govee T2 setup, and I’ve been tinkering with syncing it with my Corsair RGB fans and lighting strips. It’s been a fun challenge, but I’m hitting a few bumps along the way.

First off, I’ve got my Corsair fans and lights connected to my PC, and I’m using the ICUE software. I heard there’s a plugin for Govee, but since my PC is on Ethernet without Wi-Fi, I’m not sure how to get everything on the same network. Would adding a Wi-Fi adapter help? I’m hoping to get all my devices syncing with my screen, but I’m not quite there yet. Any tips or tricks would be amazing!

On another note, I stumbled upon the Ring Pro support in SmartThings, but there’s a bug when trying to set it up with an iOS device. It’s frustrating because it seems like it should work seamlessly. I wonder if anyone else has found a workaround or a fix for this issue. I’m really hoping to get my doorbell camera up and running for some solid nighttime security!

Lastly, I was bummed to hear that my Echo Studio hasn’t upgraded to Alexa+. It keeps prompting me, but it just won’t go through. I’m curious if others are experiencing the same issue or if there’s a way to force the upgrade. I’m really looking forward to all the new features Alexa+ has to offer!

Overall, I’m loving the journey of building my smart home ecosystem, even with the occasional setback. I’m eager to learn more and hear about others’ experiences and solutions. Let’s keep the conversation flowing!
