I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the latest updates from Govee, especially their smart widgets! 
As someone who loves streamlining my home automation setup, these widgets have been a game-changer for me. I recently discovered that clicking on the temperature widget directly opens the Govee app, which is such a convenient feature! No more digging through my phone to find the app icon—just check the widget and go! 
I’ve also been experimenting with integrating multiple devices from different brands into my smart home ecosystem. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but I’ve learned a few tricks along the way. For instance, using MQTT to connect devices has opened up a whole new level of customization. I’m now able to set up alerts for significant changes in air quality metrics like CO2 and PM levels, which is especially useful for maintaining a healthy indoor environment. 
Another thing I’ve been curious about is the potential for native integration with Google Nest devices via their Device Access API. I’m hopeful that platforms like Hubitat will expand their support for these APIs, making it even easier to create seamless smart home experiences. 
On a lighter note, I’ve also been enjoying the creative side of smart home setup. My latest project involves setting up a fun lighting system for movie nights, and it’s been a blast experimenting with different color schemes and scenes. If anyone has tips for creating dynamic lighting effects, I’d love to hear them!
