I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I must say, it’s been a fascinating journey! 
I recently came across a video that inspired me to integrate my Meross Garage Door Opener with my iPhone via Apple CarPlay. While I’ve managed to get it working in HomeKit using a Home Assistant setup, I’m still puzzled about why it doesn’t appear in CarPlay as shown in the video. 
I have the Meross Lan Integration installed in HA and the HomeKit Bridge set up, but under CarPlay, the opener isn’t showing up. Could it be because my Meross device isn’t HomeKit certified? I’ve heard that having a dedicated HomePod or another HomeKit bridge might help, but I’m sticking with HA for now. 
If anyone has successfully integrated a non-HomeKit Meross device via CarPlay, I’d love to hear your setup details! It would be amazing to control my garage door seamlessly from my car.
