Hi everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation with Vera Lite and it’s been an exciting journey! I recently upgraded my Vera Lite from UI5 to UI7 and decided to clean up my PLEG configurations. Each time I tested a new scene, I had to reload the LUA and reboot Vera, which was a bit tedious but necessary to ensure everything worked smoothly. I started by creating a simple scene: turning on a light when the front door opens. After setting it up, I was thrilled when it worked perfectly after a power cycle.
However, adding another scene proved a bit challenging. I had to go through the same process of unplugging and resetting Vera, but it was worth it to see both scenes functioning flawlessly. This experience made me realize the importance of thorough testing and patience when configuring smart home devices.
