I recently transitioned from Arlo to Wyze cameras and have been impressed by their local recording capabilities without the need for a base station. My son already loves the indoor cameras, and I appreciate the affordability compared to Arlo. I upgraded to Wyze Cam Pro 4 cameras to replace my older models and have noticed a significant improvement in video quality and reliability. However, I encountered an issue with the cloud recording feature on my Wyze Cam Plus, which stopped working after a firmware update. I reached out to support, but the response was slow. Despite this hiccup, I’m optimistic about Wyze’s potential and plan to replace my remaining Arlo cameras with Wyze ones once they need an upgrade. The integration with my existing smart home setup has been seamless, and I’m excited to explore more features as I continue to use these cameras.
