Hi everyone, I’m really excited to share my recent experiences with integrating various smart home sensors and automations. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting with devices like the Shelly Plus 2PM and some Govee products, and I must say, the possibilities are endless!
One of my favorite projects has been setting up environmental sensors to monitor outdoor conditions. I’ve been curious about whether it’s possible to measure CO2 levels, similar to the Netatmo system, using Shelly devices. I’ve also been exploring how to track wind and rain alongside temperature. If anyone has tips or recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
Another area I’ve been diving into is creating scripts to manage multiple devices. For instance, I’ve been trying to configure a setup where a switch and motion sensor can control two different lights independently. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but I’m making progress. I’m also curious if there’s a way to ensure that the motion sensor doesn’t override the switch when it’s already been activated. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
On a lighter note, I’ve also been enjoying the creative side of smart home automation. For example, I recently set up my Govee RGBIC LED TV Backlights, and they’ve completely transformed my viewing experience. It’s amazing how a simple addition can make such a big difference!
I’d love to hear about everyone’s projects and any tips or tricks they’ve picked up along the way. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue to explore the endless possibilities of smart home technology! ![]()
