Hello everyone,
I’ve been diving deep into the world of smart home technology lately, and I thought I’d share some of my experiences and questions with the community. It’s been an exciting journey, but also a bit challenging at times!
1. Camera Color Issues
A few weeks ago, my outdoor camera started displaying everything in purple, which was quite unexpected. I’ve tried updating the firmware and performing a cold boot, but the issue persists. Turning off night vision temporarily fixes it, but I’d love to know if this is a common issue or if there’s a more permanent solution. Is my camera on its way out, or is there something I’m missing?
2. TV Backlight Automation
I recently came across Govee’s TV backlights and was impressed by their potential. However, I have a smaller TV, and I’m curious if Govee plans to release backlights for this size. It would be fantastic to have a seamless integration with my setup. If anyone has similar thoughts or experiences, I’d love to hear them!
3. FLS-PP LP Wattage Capacity
I’ve been using Philips Hue lamps and strips, and I’m intrigued by the FLS-PP LP’s ability to enhance functionality, especially with Scenes. However, I’m unsure about the maximum wattage or amps I can safely use with this device. For instance, could I power a 10-meter LED strip at full brightness without issues? Any insights or recommendations would be invaluable.
4. Animal Detection Exclusion
I have an Arlo camera at my driveway, and while it’s great for security, my dog frequently triggers alerts. The zones function doesn’t seem to help, and manually disabling it isn’t practical. Is there a way to exclude my dog while still monitoring for other animals? This would save battery life and reduce unnecessary notifications.
5. Smart Lighting Experiences
I’ve been using INNR bulbs for a while now, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my smart home setup. However, I’ve noticed occasional connectivity issues, especially in larger groups. It seems random, but it’s frustrating when some bulbs don’t respond as expected. I’d love to hear if others have similar experiences or tips for improving reliability.
I’m really enjoying the flexibility and convenience that smart home technology offers, but there’s always room for improvement. I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or solutions to these challenges. Let’s continue to explore and innovate together!
Best regards,
