The Inovelli Switch Mystery
One of my first hurdles was getting my Inovelli NZW30S switch recognized by my OpenHAB setup. Initially, it showed up as a generic Z-Wave node, which was frustrating. After some research, I realized that updating the binding and ensuring the correct firmware version were key. Now, it works seamlessly alongside my NZW31S switch!
Thermostat Brightness Blues
I’ve also dealt with the thermostat display being too bright at night. While I’m still waiting for a permanent fix, I’ve found that adjusting the display settings manually and using schedules to dim the lights has been a helpful workaround. I’m hopeful that future updates will address this issue more comprehensively.
Camera Clarity and Speaker Muting
Another common issue I’ve heard about is blurry camera footage and speakers muting randomly. For camera clarity, ensuring proper lighting and firmware updates seems to make a difference. As for the speakers, I’ve found that deactivating certain flows and checking for conflicts with the Homey integration can help stabilize audio output.
