Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I’m here to share some of my experiences and questions. Hopefully, some of you veterans can shed some light on these topics!
First off, I’ve been trying to integrate my Aqara FP2 sensor into my setup using Homey via the HomeKit app. The sensor itself is working perfectly, but when I try to pair it through the HomeKit app, I keep getting an error: “pairsession not found”. Has anyone encountered this before? Any tips on how to resolve it? I’d love to get this working as it’s supposed to be a seamless integration!
Moving on, I’ve been exploring Zigbee binding in more depth. I recently noticed something a bit odd when renaming one of my Zigbee devices in the PaperUI. It seems like renaming a device triggers a node rediscovery process, which I wasn’t expecting. Is this normal behavior, or could it be a bug? I’m concerned that this might be causing unnecessary load on my network, especially since I have quite a few devices connected. Has anyone else noticed this, or is there a workaround?
I’d also love to hear from those who have successfully integrated multiple Zigbee devices and how you manage your network to keep things smooth and responsive. Any best practices or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I’m curious about others’ experiences with Homey and its integration capabilities. How stable has your experience been, and have you encountered any quirks or issues that were particularly challenging to resolve?
That’s it for now! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Let’s keep the conversation flowing!
