Hey everyone!
I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and insights. ![]()
First off, I’ve been really impressed with the Rachio Iro Smart Irrigation Controller. It’s been a game-changer for managing my garden. The ability to set up zones and schedules through the app is super convenient, and the integration with other smart home devices has been seamless. I’ve even set up some basic flows to adjust watering based on weather conditions. If anyone has tips on optimizing these settings, I’d love to hear them! ![]()
On the other hand, I’ve been having some issues with my Wyze cameras. The app keeps telling me mode changes have failed, and the monitoring events aren’t updating in real time. ![]()
It’s a bit frustrating because I rely on these cameras for security. Has anyone else encountered this? I’ve tried signing out and back in, but no luck yet. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated! ![]()
Another thing I’ve been exploring is integrating my Philips Hue lights with Homey Pro. I’ve managed to set up some nice scenes for different times of the day, but I’m still trying to figure out how to get the natural lighting scene to work automatically. If anyone has a step-by-step guide or some flow examples, that would be amazing! ![]()
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with creating virtual buttons to control multiple devices at once. I set up a “Going Out” button to turn off lights and switches, but it’s not working as expected.
I’ve attached some screenshots of my setup if anyone can spot where I might be going wrong. Any advice on debugging this would be super helpful! ![]()
Overall, I’m really enjoying the journey of building my smart home ecosystem, even with the occasional bumps along the way.
If anyone has tips, tricks, or success stories to share, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the conversation going! ![]()
