I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! 
One of the highlights has been experimenting with the Govee BloomGlow planter lights. They’re perfect for adding a cozy ambiance to my garden, especially on those cloudy days when I want to mimic the soft glow of a sunset. 
The ability to customize colors and sync with music makes it a versatile addition to any outdoor space. I’ve even set up some seasonal themes for the upcoming holidays—super easy and fun to do through the Govee app! 
On the connectivity front, I’ve encountered a bit of a challenge with my dimmers. It seems like I can only connect one at a time, and the second one keeps failing during the “interviewing” stage. This has been a bit frustrating, especially since it also disrupts the zigbee connection to my other devices. I’ve tried resetting everything and switching the order of connection, but the issue persists. If anyone has tips or workaround solutions, I’d be thrilled to hear them! 
Another interesting project I’ve been working on is automating my home’s lighting system. I’ve set up some scenes using Home Assistant that adjust the brightness and color of my lights based on the time of day. It’s amazing how much this little tweak has enhanced my daily routine. For instance, in the mornings, the lights gradually brighten to simulate sunrise, helping me wake up more naturally. At night, they dim to a warm amber hue, creating a relaxing atmosphere. 
Speaking of routines, I’ve also been exploring the integration between my smart lights and voice assistants. Using Google Home, I can now control my lights with simple voice commands, and it’s been a game-changer for hands-free living. However, I’ve noticed that the volume settings sometimes get adjusted unintentionally during media playback. I’d love to find a way to reset the volume to a higher level automatically after playing media—any advice on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated! 
Overall, the journey into smart lighting and device connectivity has been both rewarding and challenging. It’s amazing how these technologies can transform our living spaces, but it does require some trial and error along the way. I’m excited to continue exploring and improving my setup, and I’d love to hear about others’ experiences and tips!
