Hello everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and network tools lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and thoughts with you all.
First off, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my Govee lights. The ability to customize colors and create different scenes has completely transformed my home. I recently tried out the Table Lamp v2, and it’s such an upgrade from the first version. The firmware updates have been so helpful in smoothing out any initial issues, and the community support is amazing. I’ve even considered getting another one for my office, but I’m waiting to see if the price drops a bit more!
On the network side, I’ve been experimenting with Fing and their new IFTTT integration. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’ve managed to set up some really useful presence detection rules. For instance, when my phone detects I’m leaving the house, it automatically turns off the lights and adjusts the thermostat. It’s such a seamless way to save energy and enhance security. I’m really excited to see how this integration evolves and what new possibilities it opens up.
