I’m currently in the process of renovating my home and decided to go all in on smart lighting. I’ve been searching for RGBW canless recessed lights that are Z-Wave or Zigbee compatible, as I really want to integrate everything seamlessly with my Hubitat ecosystem. I’ve found a lot of Wi-Fi options, but I’m really hoping to stick with mesh protocols for reliability and easier setup. Does anyone have any recommendations or brands they’ve had success with?
On another note, I’ve been exploring the scheduling feature in Habmin2 and it’s been a game-changer for me. I’ve set up some routines that automatically adjust my lighting based on the time of day and it’s really enhanced my daily experience. However, I noticed that the schedule feature has some limitations. I’d love to hear how others are using scheduling in their setups and if there are any workarounds or tips for making the most out of it.
I’m also curious about how others handle outdoor lighting and security. I’ve been looking into motion-activated lights and cameras, but I want something that’s both weatherproof and integrates well with my existing system. Any advice or success stories would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with custom scenes and would love to hear how others create and manage their scenes. Is there a way to make them more dynamic or responsive to different conditions?
