For example, getting my Fibaro Walli Switch to work seamlessly with Alexa was a puzzle at first. After some trial and error, I realized that ensuring all devices were properly paired and the Homey skill was correctly configured was key. Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is scheduling lights based on sunrise and sunset times. Using the built-in sunset/sunrise feature in my smart home platform has been a game-changer. It automatically adjusts the lighting to match natural light patterns, which not only saves energy but also makes the space feel more connected to the outdoors.
