I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting automation, and I must say, it’s been an incredible journey! 
I recently set up my Govee lights with OpenHAB, and the possibilities are truly endless. Let me share my experience and some tips I’ve picked up along the way.
First off, integrating Govee with OpenHAB was surprisingly straightforward. I was able to control my lights through scenes and automations, which has completely transformed my home lighting setup. For example, I created a routine where my lights dim to a warm yellow when it’s close to bedtime, helping me wind down after a long day. 
One thing I struggled with initially was setting up the right color temperatures for different times of the day. I found that using the built-in scenes in the Govee app made this process much easier. I also discovered that adjusting the RGB settings manually can create some stunning effects, especially for festive occasions! 
Another tip I’d like to share is about optimizing energy usage. By setting up schedules in OpenHAB, I ensure that my lights only turn on when needed, which has significantly reduced my electricity bill. It’s a small change that makes a big difference!
