I’ve recently taken the plunge into the world of smart lighting automation and couldn’t be more excited to share my journey. After some research, I decided to go with the Inovelli RGB Dimmers for my setup. These devices have been nothing short of amazing, offering the perfect blend of functionality and customization.
My initial goal was to create a system where a simple double tap on my outdoor switches could toggle multiple lights on and off. I stumbled upon the Advanced Button Controller feature in the Inovelli app, which seemed like the perfect tool for the job. I’ve been experimenting with this setup, and I must say, it’s working beautifully! 
For instance, at my patio door, a double tap now turns on three different outdoor lights, and another double tap turns them all off. The same logic applies to my front door setup, just with a different set of lights. This hands-free functionality is incredibly convenient, especially during those early morning or late-night trips outside.
One of the features I’m most excited about is the ability to use the RGB status indicators to reflect different scenarios. In my bedroom, I’ve set it up so that the dimmer glows green when all my locks are secure and the garage doors are closed—a visual reassurance that gives me peace of mind. If something isn’t locked up, it switches to red, serving as a helpful reminder. 
I also came across a post mentioning an app that simplifies RGB state configurations, but I’m still on the hunt for it. If anyone has any leads or recommendations, I’d be thrilled to hear about them! 
As I continue to explore the possibilities with my Inovelli dimmers, I’m constantly amazed by how much they can enhance my daily routine.
