My Setup

Successes
The automation has been a game-changer for convenience. Walking into a dark room is no longer an issue, and the dimming feature helps save energy. I’ve also integrated this system with my voice assistant, allowing me to override the automation manually if needed.
Challenges
- Motion Sensor Delays: I’ve noticed occasional delays in the sensors detecting motion, especially in areas with limited line of sight. This has led to moments where the lights don’t activate immediately.
- Battery Life: Some sensors have shown faster battery drain than expected, particularly those in high-traffic areas. I’m curious if others have experienced this and how they’ve optimized battery usage.
