Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating smart lighting into my home. I’ve been experimenting with Govee LED lights under my bed for night lighting, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer! The soft, customizable glow has completely transformed my bedtime routine, making it so much more relaxing. 
However, I’ve also been facing some challenges with my existing Hue bulbs. After migrating from SmartThings, I’m curious if anyone has successfully paired Hue bulbs directly with Hubitat without a factory reset. I’ve heard conflicting stories about the Hue bulbs’ compatibility, and I’d love to hear your experiences or tips!
On another note, I’m exploring the idea of using template sensors to track energy consumption. Specifically, I’d like to calculate the energy used by my electric vehicle charger by comparing the current meter reading to the value at midnight. If anyone has tackled a similar project or has advice, I’d be grateful for your insights!
Lastly, I’ve been impressed by the creativity in this community. The shared custom components and scripts, like the Fritzbox guest Wi-Fi control, are truly inspiring. It’s amazing how we can automate and enhance our homes with just a bit of coding and creativity!
