I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! One of the standout devices I’ve come across is the Govee smart lights. I’ve integrated them into my setup, and they’ve really added a touch of elegance to my home. The ability to control them via Alexa routines has been a game-changer for me.
However, I’ve encountered a minor hiccup. I’ve set up some Flic buttons to toggle my Govee lights, but I’m finding it a bit tricky to get them to work seamlessly as a toggle. Currently, pressing the button turns the lights on, and holding it turns them off, which isn’t quite the smooth experience I was hoping for. I’ve tried a few different configurations in the Alexa app, but it still feels like I’m working within some limitations.
On a brighter note, I’ve managed to create a really cohesive setup with my Govee lights and Alexa. The integration with my daily routines has made life so much more convenient. For instance, waking up to a gradually brightening light in the morning has transformed my mornings into a much more pleasant experience.
