I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, it’s been an absolute blast! 
My journey started with a simple goal: to create a seamless lighting system that’s both energy-efficient and aesthetically pleasing. After some research, I decided to go with Govee and Fibaro products, and I’m thrilled with the results so far.
My Setup So Far
I’ve installed a variety of Govee lights around my home, including strip lights, bulb lights, and even a portable lamp. The RGBIC color options have really transformed my space, especially during the holidays when I can switch to festive colors with just a tap on my phone. The Fibaro dimmer II has been a game-changer for controlling my overhead lights, offering smooth transitions and precise brightness adjustments.

Of course, no project is without its bumps. One issue I encountered was ensuring all devices were on the same network and communicating effectively. After some troubleshooting, I realized the importance of consistent firmware updates and proper device pairing. I also had to tweak some settings in the Govee app to ensure all devices were responding as expected.
