It turns out that the firmware can be downloaded directly from the official deCONZ GitHub repository. After updating, the dimming issue was resolved, and the automation rules became much more predictable!
This experience taught me the importance of keeping firmware up to date and the value of community support in troubleshooting. If you’re having similar issues with your Hue Button or any other smart lighting device, I highly recommend checking for firmware updates and consulting the community forums. You never know what helpful tips or insights you might find!
