Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of smart home automation and I’m really excited to dive into some projects. My first goal is to set up a system where my kitchen lights turn on automatically when I walk in and turn off when I leave. I have a motion sensor and a LIFX bulb, but I’m struggling to figure out how to make this happen seamlessly. From what I understand, I need to use some sort of rule-based system, but I’m not exactly sure how to set it up. I’ve looked through the Smart Apps section, but it seems like I can only turn the lights on, not off. I’m really curious if there’s a way to create a more sophisticated setup where the lights adjust based on my movements. Maybe I need to explore some community projects or use a PC console to get more control over my system. I’m also wondering if there are any tutorials or forums where I can learn more about this.
