Exploring Smart Lighting Integration with Yeelight and Govee

I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! :rocket: I recently set up my Yeelight Crystal Pendant light, and while it’s been a breeze to integrate with my smart home ecosystem, I did run into a small issue that I wanted to share and see if others have encountered something similar.

The pendant light comes with two physical switches at either end of the room, and I wanted to keep using them for on/off functionality. However, after turning the light off, I noticed that I had to flick the switch several times for the lamp to turn back on. This was puzzling because my old lamp didn’t have this issue. I’m wondering if this is normal behavior or if there’s a setting I might have missed during the setup. Has anyone else experienced something like this with Yeelight products?

On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with Govee RGBICWW lights for some fun and thematic lighting effects. They’ve been a hit, especially when paired with some Star Wars-themed settings for movie nights! :star2: The ability to customize colors and scenes through the app has been a game-changer for creating immersive atmospheres.

If anyone has tips on optimizing switch functionality with Yeelight or creative lighting setups with Govee, I’d love to hear about them! Let’s keep the conversation flowing and share our smart lighting adventures. :handshake:
