Exploring Smart Lighting Scenarios for Sunset and Sunrise

As someone who loves to create welcoming home environments, I’ve been experimenting with smart lighting scenarios, especially around sunset and sunrise. One feature I’ve been hoping for is a “lights off” scene that can be integrated with existing effects. Imagine being able to not only change colors but also turn specific lights on or off at scheduled times—this would add a whole new layer of customization to my daily routines.

For instance, during sunset, I’d love to have a scene where outdoor lights gradually turn on while indoor lights dim, creating a seamless transition from day to night. Similarly, at sunrise, having lights wake me up with a gentle brightness increase would be amazing. I’ve already started drafting some ideas in my smart home app, but I’m curious if others have implemented something similar or have tips on how to make this work smoothly.

Another thought: being able to assign individual lights to specific scenes would be incredibly useful. For example, during a movie night, I could have the living room lights dim while the hallway lights stay on for safety. This kind of granularity would make my smart home setup even more functional and enjoyable.

I’d love to hear how others are using smart lighting to enhance their daily routines. Any tips, tricks, or favorite settings you’d recommend? Let’s brainstorm together!
